Obituary of Vendora Shuhart

Vendora Shuhart 103 of East Greenbush died Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Van Rensselaer Manor. Vendora was born in Berlin to the late William and Alma Brown Smith. Vendora married her love Rollin Shuhart at age 17 and moved to East Greenbush in 1946. They had a wonderful life of 70 years together. Vendora was always a busy home maker and enjoyed cooking for her family. She looked forward to Thursday's when her friends would come and play Pinochle. Vendora did many crafts and enjoyed playing dominos, and w ii bowling with family and friends. Predeceased by her Husband, Rollin F. Shuhart. brother William Smith Jr., grandchildren Edward L. Shuhart, Kevin Shuhart, Sheri Shuhart and Natasha Shuhart. Vendora had three children Joyce (Frederick) Albert of East Greenbush, NY : Lloyd (Barbara) Shuhart of Berlin and Cyril (Rose) Shuhart of Schodack Landing, NY grandchildren Linda(Patrick) Emery, Kim (Kevin) Lynch, William ( Kellie) Shuhart, Kyle (Laurie) Shuhart, Ronnie Shuhart, Heather (Kevin) Durham, John (Sandy) Shuhart, Step grandchildren Rose (Chris) Cimini, Richard Folmsbee, Michael Shuhart, Me'hre ( Eli) Strong . She was also a foster mom to five children and is survived by great grandchildren, great great granchildren and cousins Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral 12:00 pm on Wednesday from Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc. 165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, NY. Friends may call in the funeral home Wednesday from 10-12 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Berlin Cemetery, Berlin.
