Obituary of Marie I. Kahler

Marie I. Kahler, 86, of Schodack died Sunday, May 20, 2018 at home. Marie was born in Philadelphia, PA. to the late Gordon and Josephine Stover. She lived on the family poultry farm and worked as a typist for the Quakertown free press. She married James Kahler started her family before she moved to the capital region. Marie loved spending time with her family and friends and was a Mom to Many. She enjoyed traveling, the ocean, and her wild life friends. She was an avid racing car fan and enjoyed all racing. She was a proud American who made her house a home where everyone was welcome especially veterans of all wars. She former belonged to the American Legion and the East Greenbush Fire Dept. Predeceased by her husband James J. Kahler. daughter Linda M. Ward Marie is survived by her two daughters, Sharon L.(Michael) Cramer, Rene (Dominic) Carnibucci two sons: James R.(Jacqueline Barnes) Kahler and Steven L. Kahler Sr, Eight grandchildren, Amy Ward-Harting, Sara Cramer; Rebecca Cramer; Steven Kahler Jr.; Kevin Kahler; Alaina Kahler ,Desiree Carnibucci, Dominic Caribucci . She is also survived by one great grandson Tyler Harting Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral 1:30 on Friday from Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc. 165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, NY. Friends may call in the funeral home Friday from 10-1:00 prior to the funeral. Interment will be in East Greenbush Cemetery, East Greenbush. Contributions may be made to Albany medical center Cancer Research Ct Albany, NY or to any Veterans organization of your choice
