Obituary of Angela S. Miralles

Angela S. Miralles, of East Greenbush entered into eternal rest Monday, June 11, 2018 at the Albany Medical Center Hospital. She was 86. Angela was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and spent her childhood in Pedreguer, Alicante, Spain. She moved, at the age of 18, to Albany, NY, where she was employed for many years as a seamstress at Cohoes Garment Co. She is predeceased by her parents, Vicente Simo and Josefa Noguera, and her sister Josefa Simo. Angela is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Peter Miralles; sister: Teresa Simo; daughter: Ann Marie Miralles; son: Joseph V. (Anne) Miralles; grandchildren: Peter R. Miralles and Grace M. Miralles; and many nieces and nephews in Spain. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Friday 9:00am at Wm. J Rockefeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Tpke, Rensselaer and Mass to follow at 10:00 from Historic St. Mary's, 10 Lodge St, Albany, NY. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rensselaer. Calling hours will be at the funeral home Thursday from 4-7pm.
