Obituary of Leonard P. Osborne

Leonard P. Osborne 82 passed into eternal peace Monday, July 9, 2018 at home surrounded by his family. Born to the late Lily and William C. Osbourne. Leonard graduated Rensselaer High School. He retired from L.B. Smith where he was employed for many years. An avid fan of the Dodgers and Rams; Leonard also loved working with model trains, bowling, camping, fishing, country music, and yearly trips to Maine, He enjoyed watching British Comedies, wrestling, and spending time with his family and family get togethers. Predeceased by his son, Michael J. Osborne. Leonard is survived by his wife of 59 years: Rose M. (Catalfamo) Osborne, two daughters: Susan J. Osborne and Gary Fox of Rensselaer, Laurie and Wallace Law Jr. of Rensselaer and one son: William M. Osborne of Micco, FL four beautiful grandchildren Stephanie Anne Marie Law, Alexander James Law, Jacob Isaac Law, and Mackenzie Rose Law. One Sister Barbara J and Leonard Johnson of Guilderland; Relatives and friends may call Thursday from 11am -1Pm in the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc. 165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, NY. Followed by a service at 1:00 pm. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Our family would like to thank Dr. John Rosenberger and the Community Hospice especially "Brianna" for her loving care of Leonard.
