Obituary of James W. Arden

James W. Arden, 45, of Defreestville died unexpectedly Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at St Peter's Hospital due to a pulmonary embolism. Jim was born in Troy, NY. He was a cook for Sodexo SUNY Albany, NY and prior he worked many years at Trio's Deli in Albany where he was known as Jimbo. Jim enjoyed fishing and shooting with his dad and was a traveling companion and helper to his mom. He enjoyed fishing and camping with friends, video games, Legos and was a big kid at heart. He was a collector of Matchbox cars and Star Wars memorabilia. Jim was the most sincere, caring and loving person and would do anything for anyone. He loved music, food, cooking, gaming and hugs. He made everyone laugh and every gathering a party. Everyone who knew Jim considered him their best friend. Predeceased by step father Pastor Lee Dyer, Step brother in Law Michael Boyd. James is survived by his mother Marilyn Dyer, father James A. (Sherry) Hiney, two sisters: Jennifer Boyd and Cristina (Jay) Dyer-Drobnack, and three brothers: Stephen (Kathleen) Arden, Benjamin L. (Margi) Dyer and Rich Kosarovich. Step mother Elaine Berg. nieces Caeley, Serena, Emma and nephews Ryan, Tate and Cole. Also dear friend Megan Gurney and her son Josh. Friends may call Saturday from 10:00-1:00 at Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral home 165 Columbia Tpk. Rensselaer, NY. A memorial service and Interment will be held this fall. There will be a huge hole in the hearts of countless family, friends, and co-workers. There will be laughter in heaven
