Obituary of Robert W. Jenks

Robert W. Jenks 50 of Rensselaer died Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Massachusetts General.  Robert was born in Manhattan the proud son of Robert M. Jenks and the late Katherine (Byrne) Jenks.  Robert was a graduate of Siena College and became a Facilities Engineer for Verizon.

Robert loved music; playing the guitar and enjoyed playing golf and tennis.  Robert was known for his sense of humor his love of history, sports, horse racing, and the Pittsburgh Penguins. Most of all Bob’s world revolved around his daughters.

Robert is survived by his wife beloved wife Debra J. (Marotta) Jenks, devoted father of two daughters: Devyn and Lauryn Jenks, brother of Elizabeth A. (John) Garvey and William M. Jenks.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral 10:00 Am on Saturday from Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc. 165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, NY.  Friends are invited to attend her calling hours Friday from 4-7 at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rensselaer.  The family would like to thank Dr James Puleo and Dr Esperance Schaefer and all the Dr’s and nurses that cared for him over the years.
