Obituary of Francis J. Danner

Francis J. "Frank" Danner of East Greenbush died Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at home. Francis was born in Albany to the late Ida and Joseph Danner, . He retired as an Office manager for Sterling Winthrop after 30 Plus Years Of Service. Frank enjoyed sports especially bowling and managed various softball leagues in East Greenbush. He was an avid Yankees, Green Bay Packers, Notre Dame fan and enjoyed Crossword Puzzles. He served proudly in the Army during Korea. Frank is survived by his siblings: Mary (Thomas) McCarty, John (Patricia) Danner, Ida (Gerald) Connolly, Theresa (Richard) Swahlan, Paul ( Carol) Danner, Joseph (Mary Ann) Danner, Elizabeth (John ) Hudson, Ottmar (Claude) Danner, George Danner, Peter ( June) Danner, Barbara Danner and Margaret Cipperley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Saturday 11:30 am at Church Of St Mary 163 Columbia Tpk, Rensselaer, NY where a liturgy of Christian death and burial will be celebrated. Friends may call Saturday from 9-11:00 am at Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home inc 165 Columbia Tpk. Rensselaer. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rensselaer. Contributions may be made to Church of St. Mary in his memory. .
