Obituary of William D. Belschwinder

William D. Belschwinder, 89, of East Greenbush died Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Barnwell Nursing Home. William was born in Albany to the late William S. and Phoebe Belschwinder. He was a Truck Driver for Tannys Trucking and later for Sheridan Supply. William was avid New York Yankees fan and enjoyed bird watching. He was a volunteer for Concerns U in Rensselaer and loved helping people. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and was an usher and very active communicant at Holy Spirit church. Predeceased by his Wife, Margaret M. Lill, and brother, Russell Belschwinder. William is survived by his two daughters: Margaret (Joseph) Grande of Washington, NJ and Elizabeth (Timothy) Paul of Sand Lake, NY, and three sons: William (Michelle) Belschwinder of East Greenbush, NY, Richard F. (Pamela ) Belschwinder of Troy, NY and David A.(Hope Derocha) Belschwinder of Loudonville, NY, 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass Wednesday 12:00pm at Holy Spirit Church 667 Columbia Tpk., East Greenbush, NY where a liturgy of Christian death and burial will be celebrated. Friends may call in the Rockefeller Funeral Home 165 Columbia Tpk. Rensselaer Wednesday from 9-11:30 am Prior to the funeral. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rensselaer. Those who wish may make contributions to Holy Spirit Church 667 Columbia Tpk. East Greenbush, NY 12061 in his memory.
