Obituary of Jane F. Steinbach

Jane F. Steinbach,84, of Rensselaer passed peacefully Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Van Rensselaer Manor. Jane was born in Rensselaer to the late Hooper and Marjorie Van Vorst. She was a Homemaker and worked for Joys Dept Store. She was an avid Bingo Fan but most of all enjoyed time with family as Mom and Grammy Predeceased by her husband, Rodney E. Steinbach, sister, Marjorie Cheetham and her brother Hooper VanVorst, Jane is survived by her four daughters: Paula (Michael) Micheli, Donna (James) Pendolino, Maria (Matthew) Johnson and Barbara Jane (Patrick) Buell, and two sons: Joseph (Barbara) Steinbach and Jay Steinbach, four grandchildren Jess, Gina, Michael C., Shelby Nicole. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours Wednesday from 4-8 at the Wm. J. Rockefeller funeral home. Funeral mass will be Thursday 9:00 from the funeral home and 9:30 at Church of St. Mary of Clinton Heights. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rensselaer.
