Obituary of Elizabeth A. Gizzi

Elizabeth A. Moore Gizzi (Betty) 84, of East Greenbush passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday January 27. Betty was born in Albany, the daughter of Joseph and Ethel Moore. She retired in 1998 after 27 years as a Clerk for NYS Dept. Agricultural Markets. Betty was lovingly devoted to her great-grandchildren. Betty is survived by her son Vincent J. Gizzi (Annette), her grandson Vincent N. Gizzi, her sister Lela (the late Carl) Briner, brother Francis Moore, and was predeceased by her sister Ethel Memole (the late Vince Memole). Betty was the proud great-grandmother of Natalie, Francesca and Armani Gizzi and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass Friday 2/1/19, 10:00am at Historic St. Mary's, 10 Lodge St, Albany, NY where a liturgy of Christian death and burial will be celebrated. Friends may call in the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home 165 Columbia Tpk. Rensselaer Friday from 8:30-9:30am prior to the funeral. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
