Obituary of Franz Tisaj

Franz Tisaj 72 of East Greenbush died Thursday, October 19, 2017 at St Peter's Hospice. Franz was born in Austria to the late Edith and Franz Tisaj. He was a Laborer for Lydal Manning Paper Green Island He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam war. Predeceased by his Sister, Edith Cox, and Brother, Ernest Tisaj. Franz is survived by his wife of 26 years Peggy L. (Jewett) Tisaj and one daughter: Shawna Mackey; two sisters: Melita (Don) Leonard and Margaret Shaw, and 1 one brother: Eric (Joyce) Tisaj; two grandchildren Austin and Dustin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral 9:30am on Tuesday Oct 24th from Church of St. Mary 163 Columbia Tpk. Rensselaer, NY. Friends may call at the Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc. 165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, NY Monday Oct 23rd from 4-7pm. Interment will be in Blooming Grove Cemetery North Greenbush.
