Obituary of Leslie A Hosley

Leslie Anne (Goff) Hosley, 87, of Castleton died after a brief illness on Sunday, November 19th at the Riverside Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born in Southampton, NY to the late Howard and Anne (Holroyd) Goff. Leslie Anne graduated from the State University Teachers College at Potsdam with a degree in Elementary Education. In 1951 she accepted her first appointment in Wynantskill teaching Kindergarten. She went on to teach First Grade in Clinton Heights and Second Grade at Green Meadow School. After 30 years of service, she retired from the East Greenbush Central School District in 1995. Leslie is survived by her husband, Dr. Henry F. Hosley; four children, David Hosley (Robyn), Anne Kalter (Mitchell), Johanna Broughton (Richard), Robert Hosley (Kathleen); one brother, Dr. Terry H. Goff (Joyce); seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Saturday, December 2nd, 10:00 a.m at the East Greenbush Reformed Church, 688 Columbia Turnpike, East Greenbush, NY. Interment will be in the East Greenbush Cemetery immediately following the service.
