Obituary of Betty L Peters

Betty Lou Peters, 88, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018, at Eddy Heritage House in Troy, NY. Betty was born in Brooklyn, Ohio, the daughter of George and Edna Logelin. Betty was the office manager for Cambridge Lee Metal Company in Euclid, Ohio, for many years before retiring to River Bend, North Carolina. She was involved with numerous charitable organizations and activities through the Lutheran Church. Betty enjoyed traveling, reading and swimming and she loved to bake and sew for her family but, most of all, Betty loved spending time with her beloved husband of 67 years. Betty is survived by her husband, Arnold L. Peters; her daughter, Jayne (John) Ferro; her son, Gary Peters; her sister, Lois Gruenbaum; her grandchildren, Brandye (Adam) Iacolucci, Robin (Luis) Martinez, Kim (Glen) Bujak, Christopher Ferro and her great-grandchildren Brianna, Mia, Sophia, Caleb and Isabella. Betty is also survived by many nieces and nephews in various parts of the country. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at 11:00 am at the Rockefeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, NY. Friends and family are invited to call at 10:00 am prior to the service.
