Obituary of Frederick J. Cossart

Frederick J. Cossart 61 of Rensselaer died Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at home surrounded by his lovingfamily. Frederick was born in Albany the son of the late Richard And Dorothy Cossart Sr. He was a Truck Driver for Coca Cola for over 25 years and then going to Tomra Recycling for the last 17 years and with the Teamsters Local for over 40 years. He was an Avid Golfer and Bowler Frederick is survived by his wife: Linda M. (Carr) Cossart, a former wife and mother of his children Dawn Kautsky his children Virginia D.(Jonathan) Bates and a son: William R. Cossart; Brother of Deborah (Mark) Dillon, Sandra Cossart, Richard (Kim) Cossart Jr., Robert (Marybeth) Cossart and Scott (Laura) Cossart,; step father of Janet Leonard. He was the proud "Slappy" to his 4 grandchildren Grayson and Maverick Bates and Alexis and Taylor Leonard. Brother in Law to John (Shelley) Carr and Pat (the Late Paul) Wanback and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service 4:00 pm on Saturday from Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc. 165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, NY. Friends are invited to attend his calling hours Saturday from 1-4 at the funeral home prior to the funeral.
