Obituary of Eleanor B. Henion

Eleanor B. Henion 96 of Delmar died Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home. Eleanor was born in Albany the daughter of the Late August and Nora Berger. She was a Bookkeeper for National Savings Bank Albany for many years before retiring. She was a member of the Evangelical Protestant church in Albany where she sang in the Choir before it closed. Currently a member of the Community Congregational church in East Greenbush. Predeceased by her Husband, Robert R. Henion Jr. and a brother August Berger Eleanor is survived by her 2 two sons: Robert R. Henion III and James T. (Charlotte) Henion, proud grandmother of Julie Henion Boyer, Paul (Julia) Henion, and great grandchildren Brooke and Alayna Boyer, Alex and Kimberly Henion. Also survived by a niece and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service 6:00 pm on Thursday from Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc. 165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, NY with Barbara Toll officiating. Friends are invited to her calling hours Thursday from 4-6 prior to the service. Entombment will be in Graceland Cemetery, Albany in the spring.
