Obituary of Robert F. McKiever

Robert F. McKiever, Jr. 73 of East Greenbush died Saturday, January 20, 2018 at home. Robert was born in Endicott the son of the late Robert and Doris McKiever Sr. He was a Pipe Fitter for BASF for many years before retiring. He was a proud Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam war. Bob was a super giving man and was always able to make others laugh. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 39 years Barbara J (Spring) McKiever. Robert is survived by his 2 two daughters: Christine Marino and Kelly A. McKiever and a son: Michael R. McKiever; three sisters: Mary (Thomas) Quandt, Doris (William) Biga, Joan McKiever, and two brothers: Francis (Martha) and Kevin McKiever, He was the proud Grandfather of Julia Marino. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Church of St Mary 163 Columbia Tpk, Rensselaer, NY where the liturgy of Christian death and burial will be celebrated Thursday morning 9:30 am. Friends are invited to his calling hours Wednesday evening 4-7 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
