Obituary of Barbara D. Wampole

Barbara D. Wampole 76 of Rensselaer died Thursday, February 1, 2018 at St Peter's Hospice. Barbara grew up in Schodack, the daughter of Earl and Madeline Goudreau . She was the Office Manager for Wojeski Accounting firm for 22 years. Her office was her second family and she worked until she was taken ill. Extremely devoted wife mother, grandmother great grandmother and attentive friend to many. Barb loved to play Texas Hold'em and cherished that time with her friends. Barb often supported charities including St Jude's for 32 years and organizing fund raisers for the local CoNCERNS-U. Barbara is survived by her husband: William M. Wampole, a daughter: Elizabeth (Steve) Hart and two sons: Richard (Jody) Broughton and John (Shelly) Broughton. Sister of Earl (Diane) Jr., Larry (Barbara) Goudreau and Sue LoVullo; Proud grandmother of Lacey Davis, Chelsea and Nicolle Broughton, Cassie Broughton, Tyler, Steven Jr., Maddie Hart, great grandmother of Michaela, Keagan, and Killian. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service 11:00 am on Saturday February 10th from East Greenbush Reformed Church Columbia Tpk., East Greenbush, NY.Friends and family are invited to her calling hours 9-11 prior to the service. The family has requested that those who wish, make memorial contributions in Barbs name to either St Jude's Children's Hospital or CoNCERNS-U 50 Herrick St, Rensselaer, NY 12144.
