Obituary of John J. Mc Fee
John J. McFee, 92, of Rensselaer died Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at VA Medical
Center. John was born in Brooklyn, NY. He was a Construction Welder with the IUOE, and worked on some notable projects, including the New York World's Fair and the original World Trade Center.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II and fought as a tail-gunner on a fighter plane in the Pacific.
John (Joe) is survived by his two daughters: Donna McFee and Elizabeth Jay, three
sons: Christopher McFee, Michael McFee, and Eric McFee, his loving daughter-in-law, Kimberly McFee, one brother: Richard McFee, thirteen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his wake from 1-4 PM on Saturday at Wm. J.
Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc. 165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, NY, followed by a brief service.
