Obituary of Karen W. Courcelle

Karen W. Courcelle 66 of Hampstead formerly of Rensselaer died Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Lower Cape Hospice. Karen was born in Albany to the late Kenneth and Gwendolyn Wheeler. She was a Nurse for Albany Co Sheriff's department for over 30 years before moving to North Carolina 8 years ago. She loved the Beach, Bass Fishing, Puzzles, floating in the pool drinking Pepsi. and spending time with all her friends in upstate New York along with all her friends she has made in North Carolina including Katie Hildebrandt, Dale, Pat, Do, Lori, Jason, Jordan, Cam, and Kim.. Karen was a loving wife and grandmother and will be greatly missed. Karen is survived by her husband of 27 years: Dennis A. Courcelle Three sons and one step son: Corwin Hildebrandt, Kristopher Hildebrandt, Seth Courcelle and Jamie Courcelle, two brothers: Dennis (Regina) Wheeler and Keith (Sandra) Wheeler,; Grandchildren, Tyler Hildebrandt; Joshua Hildebrandt and Arabella Grace Hildebrandt. Relatives and friends may call Thursday from 4-7:00 pm in the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc. 165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, NY. with a Memorial Service following at 7:00 pm Burial will be held in Elmwood Cemetery, in the spring followed by a celebration of Karen's Life Dennis would like to say thank you for all the support by friends, and family.
