Obituary of Barbara A. Vaughn

Barbara A. Vaughn , 85, entered into eternal life on March 7, 2018 after a brief illness. Born in Valley Falls, she resided in East Greenbush for over 60 years. She was the daughter of the late Hubert and Esther Masterson, the loving wife of the late Paul G. Vaughn and was predeceased by her sister, Mary Carey and her brother, Charles Masterson. Daughter in Law Diane Vaughn. Barbara enjoyed Suduko, the game show network, vacationing in Florida and the annual girls get-away every summer. She is survived by her six children Debra York (Richard Rossi), Paul Vaughn, Barbara Schaefer (Ben), Mary Wheeler (Harold), Terry Morrow (Lou Thomas) and Kim Grimaldi (Tony). She was also the proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her priority in this life was always family. They will all remember her as one of the most generous and caring person in their lives. Her quick wit and sense of humor always made her a pleasure to be around. A special thank you to the nurses and doctors of the ICU at Albany Memorial Hospital for their kindness and compassion. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service Tuesday March 13, 2018 11:00 am from the Wm. J. Rockefeller funeral home 165 Columbia tpk. Rensselaer, NY. Interment will be in East Greenbush Cemetery. Friends may call Monday from 4-7 in the Funeral home.
