Obituary of Charles J. Gilmore

Charles J. Gilmore, Sr. 53 of East Greenbush died Peacefully Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Albany Medical Center after a long hard fought battle with cancer. Charles was born in Albany and raised in Nassau the son of the late Frederick Gilmore and Winifred Coonradt. He was a Owner Operator for FAD Cleaning Service East Greenbush He proudly served in the US Navy from 1982-1988 and then went on to be Partners with his wife in FAD cleaning services. Chuck was an avid Race car enthusiast, he loved spending time with his wife and family on all their adventures from Rock shows to Quading to just simple get a ways. For the last 9 years chuck loved helping to run and organize a family event and local fundraiser in East Greenbush "The Gathering of the Tribes POW-Wow @ Brown's farm. Charles is survived by his beloved best friend and soul mate his wife: Tina M. (Miller) Gilmore, a daughter: Sara L.(Michael) Dugan and two sons: Daniel D. (Amanda) Dugan and Charles J. Gilmore Jr.; his Stepfather Claude Coonradt, a sister: Deborah A. (Glenn) Wager and a brother: Frederick (Suzanne) Gilmore Jr; his mother in Law Judy M. Fink. Chuck is also survived by two grandchildren, Kaidan N.C. Gilmore; and Natalie R. Gilmore. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral 3:00 pm on Sunday March 25th from Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, Inc. 165 Columbia Turnpike, Rensselaer, NY Friends are invited to attend his calling hours Sunday from 12-3 at the funeral home.
